The visuals aren’t as flat as anyone might expect from other typical series. It has various dark and high-gradient scenes especially in certain episodes, and you can tell which ones they are from the file sizes. I made a screenshot comparison above so you can see for yourself if the detail/gradient preservation is worth the file sizes.
