I’m a long-time T-Rex fan for more than a decade now, but I prefer this Breakbottle take on a Bishop adaptation under Showten‘s label than either T-Rex‘s or PoRO‘s. It seems that there won’t be an Onoura Rikka solo episode which is a huge disappointment in my part, but Sayuki and Noeru are both nice heroines so I guess it’s okay.

Really..? I thought the direction for the H scene was very boring. There was a few shots where they looped it far too long and the whole color scheme feels washed out. Reminds me of that Kansen adaption which was pretty forgettable.

The story is well-paced, neither too fast nor too slow. That is what’s mainly important for me when watching any episode. It neither is like PoRO’s usual individual scenes slapped next to each other, nor T-Rex focusing too much on H scenes at the cost of the story.

I always find a change of studio weird, but it’s just porn, so whatever. I guess T-Rex was too busy, according to AniDB they seem to have a few different series coming soon.
This studio was fine, but the T-Rex one was better. T-Rex does rush into the H-scenes with minimal setup, but that’s what we’re here for isn’t it? You don’t really want too much plot, and too little “plot” in porn do you?

Not everyone shares that opinion. People who give more value to the actual story would think otherwise. There’s a good reason why 90s PinkPineapple titles like Doukyuusei/Tenkousei/Kakyuusei became classics despite having only minimal bed scenes per 30-minute episode. If people don’t want too much plot, they’d be watching those doujin animation/slideshows instead of these. There also isn’t any change of studio here since this is a separate title.

That’s true too, valuing the story and progression before the H-scenes, but since so few studios seem adept at good story telling, sometimes I think its better they not even bother. There have been some episodes approaching 30 minute runtimes that are a real slog to get through because the story telling is such a mess. Then there are some that have a great setup and end up being more endearing for it (I think Lovely was one of those for me). Maybe T-Rex doesn’t bother with the story and setup because they figure they are not good at it and just stick to what they are good at. It’s definitely true that it does then sometimes makes the episode hard to follow. Youma Shoukan e Youkoso from them had pretty good buildup and world building and then disappointed when it didn’t expand on it. Ore no Yubi did a lot of character development with it’s short runtime. Anyway, I’ve rambled too much, point is, story is great if the studio can swing it, but if they can’t, I think I’d rather they not bother and stick with what they are good at.

All I gotta say is how would you feel if your favorite h scene doesn’t happen or it’s cut extremely short for the sake of story? You’ll still be fine with that? Do we not use hentai for fapping and value it more for that purpose? I think that’s the great thing about T-rex. They would animate far more H scenes in sacrifice of the story and I think that’s better. Take Kutsujoku 1 done by T-rex for example. We got two amazing h scenes in comparison to the one in this one. What’s not to like about having more H scenes to enjoy?

Nobody contests that. Your opinion is just as valid as mine, and never better or worse. Do your own thing, to each their own. But it’ll never be always shared by others. I prefer Studio 1st’s adaptation the most, then PoRO, and lastly T-Rex. I can use the same reason to tell you that PoRO has more scenes in general to enjoy, but that doesn’t mean that PoRO will always be seen as better than T-Rex by others. This is also the same reason why I don’t look down on people who like 3D/2D doujin animation/slideshows. It has its own audience that appreciates it, and comes with its own advantages (mostly the speed and quantity of published videos) and disadvantages (quality and story progression, if existent).

if only there’s a publisher out there takes interest on this kind of visual novels i would likely try to play but sadly no one wants. So only hope is watching animations and reading comments of people that already played it.

I’ve always been interested in working on game translations for a while now, but I just never had the time to fiddle with them yet. It’s a lot more technical and complex to work on than other forms of media like manga which I can intuitively edit in photoshop even without prior expertise.
